On 13th November, Sophie Cochard joined Nantes ‒ Saint‐Nazaire Port as the Director of Planning and Development, Environment and Real-Estate Assets. This trained lawyer and member of the Paris Bar Association began her professional career as an adviser to companies on Community law, and more specifically on state aid, anti-competitive practices, integrations and litigation.

Haliade X: An XXL Cargo Handling Operation Performed by Sogebras

Since the spring of 2023, the General Electric (GE) factory at Montoir de Bretagne has started exporting its giant Haliade X nacelles, which will be equipping various offshore wind farms worldwide. Sogebras is charged with coordinating the handling operations for these outsize cargo consignments.

Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port's Montoir de Bretagne Facility To Be the Site of a Hydrogen Production Unit

Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port is adding a new brick to the structure for the deployment of renewable energy, and is thereby helping to ramp up energy transition in the industrial and port activity zone on the Loire Estuary. In late 2022, Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port issued a call for expressions of interest for the production of hydrogen in the Port Authority area. The Management Board has just chosen Lhyfe to set up a renewable hydrogen industrial production and distribution unit at the Montoir de Bretagne port facility.
