Discover the sites of the Grand Port Maritime
From Nantes to Saint-Nazaire, the logistics activity is spread over several sites, on the right and left banks of the river. Born in the Nantes conurbation, it remains important there, for about 10% of the total traffic. But it has gradually moved downstream, to adapt to the growing size of ships and their need for a deeper navigation channel. Thus, the sites of Donges or Montoir de Bretagne, and of course Saint-Nazaire, have grown considerably. This development has coincided with a certain specialisation of these sites.
