At the start of 2024, MAN Energy Solutions signed a contract to produce 48 dual-fuel (diesel/gas) engines destined to equip the Karpowership Group’s fleet of powerships.

TGO6 is a 1 800 m² warehouse to be used for TGO EasyLog’s port-based and industrial logistics activities. With dimensions of 60 metres by 30 metres, this unit is specially designed to accommodate large industrial cargo consignments such as items of MRE equipment.

As 2024 drew to a close, the Grimaldi Shipping Line vessel Grande New York called at the Montoir de Bretagne ro-ro terminal inbound from Turkey, carrying an exceptional cargo of Dacia and Renault vehicles. The ship unloaded a total of 3 102 vehicles, setting a new record for the ro-ro terminal.

Hynamics, a subsidiary of the EDF Group, has launched a preliminary consultation from 16th December 2024 to 9th March 2025 on the Take Kair project. Take Kair is an innovative project to build and operate an e-fuel (or synthetic fuel) production plant, mainly for aviation, at Donges, within the Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port Authority area.

On 21st and 22nd January, Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port was represented by the Development Directorate’s Ro-Ro Business Unit at the ECG (European Car Group) symposium that was held in Zeebrugge (Belgium). The event brought together the key players in the European ro-ro port operations and logistics sector to discuss current challenges and opportunities.
