First Call by the FEMEX Service at Montoir

The vessel CMA CGM Montoir called at Montoir de Bretagne for the first time on 5th January, marking the launch of the FEMEX service by CMA CGM Group, a global player in maritime, land, air and logistics solutions. The service aims to boost trade between the Far East, the Mediterranean basin (especially Turkey) and Western France.

Maintenance Turnaround for the Cheviré Ro-Ro Pontoon in Saint Nazaire

At the end of November, Nantes Cheviré’s ro-ro pontoon N° 1 set off for Saint Nazaire, towed by the dredger Le Milouin. Several teams from Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port were mobilized to ensure the transfer of this pontoon between Cheviré and the Saint Nazaire docks. It entered dock N° 1 with the help of the Compagnie Fluviale de Transport (CFT) push tug Val d'Avel.

Take Kair Preliminary Consultation Now Launched

Hynamics, a subsidiary of the EDF Group, has launched a preliminary consultation from 16th December 2024 to 9th March 2025 on the Take Kair project. Take Kair is an innovative project to build and operate an e-fuel (or synthetic fuel) production plant, mainly for aviation, at Donges, within the Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port Authority area.

Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port Receives the "Port Marketing Specialists Club"

The French Directorate-General for Infrastructure, Transport and Mobility (DGITM) and the CEREMA Technicial Directorate for Risks, Water and the Sea have set up a "club": a port-based working group that brings together managers with responsibility for marketing, studies, promotion or pricing, for a vision of marketing in the broad sense of the term. Two seminars are held each year, one in Paris and the other in one of France’s ports, alongside webinars throughout the year.
