A number of work operations are in progress or nearing completion at the Saint Nazaire port facility. Here is an overview of the work.

A project led by Lhyfe and Elyse to produce e-methanol is to come to life within the Port Authority area, at Montoir de Bretagne. Its purpose is to decarbonize maritime transport activities.

The Territorial Industrial Ecology (TIE) Gathering was held on 8th October, bringing together a group of public- and private-sector players and attracting over 70 participants to the IDEA Group’s premises at Montoir de Bretagne.

Following on from the DENV-R floating data center on 8th October, a new prototype was inaugurated this morning in the Nantes port area! Nantes-based firm Enerdigit has chosen to set up its first pilot facility for storage batteries and electricity redistribution under the Pont de Cheviré bridge.

The French subsidiary of British company Harmony Energy has chosen the Cheviré port area as the site of its future 100 MW capacity storage facility utilizing TeslaMegapack technology, which will store 200 MWh of energy and be the largest battery electricity storage facility in France.

Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port provides a home within the Port Authority area for the Denv-R floating data center. The inauguration of this new-generation infrastructure took place on 8th October aboard the Iroko, in the presence of the project’s many economic and institutional partners, including Nantes Metropolitan District Council and Pays de la Loire Regional Authority.
