In 2021, Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port renewed its governance and unanimously adopted its strategic plan for the period 2021-2026.

On 17th January, Alexandre Rolland took over from Jacky Pommier as the Port Authority’s new Director of Asset Management and Production.

Since mid-January, the vessel Plastic Odyssey has put in at Saint Nazaire for a number of months, so as to carry out work that notably includes a change of ballast.

The preparation work on the platform for the three 3 000 m² warehouses permitting industrial activities to be carried out on behalf of General Electric (GE) is in progress and will be completed in February 2022. In addition, works contracts are being placed for the building to be used by TGO, the operator of the Montoir de Bretagne container terminal.

One part of the Port Authority’s new strategy initiated just a few weeks ago consists in developing port property income through energy-related projects.

Elected by his peers in November 2021, Bruno MICHEL, the Director of the Elengy liquefied natural gas terminal at Montoir de Bretagne, makes it clear that he is determined to assist Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port in ensuring the success of its 2021-2026 strategic plan.
