For those young people looking for a company with which to validate their training qualification, Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port is recruiting its future trainees to start in September.

On 6th June, the Marketing Directorate held a conference and debate on the occasion of a multidisciplinary scientific visit to different European ports by students from the Trainmar Centre at Dakar’s Maritime and Logistics University.

From 6th to 8th June, a delegation from Greater Western France led by Olivier Trétout, Chair of Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port’s Management Board, Christophe Chabert, Chair of the Management Board of the Port of Brest, and Marie Lecuit-Proust, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Brittany Regional Authority, paid a visit to Ireland to see the infrastructures of the Ports of Cork, Rosslare and Shannon.

The M/V Super-Fast Baleares put in at the ro-ro terminal from 14th to 16th June. With a length of 209.43 metres, the vessel breaks the previous record set in 2006 by the 199.91-metre-long Platinium Ray, and thereby becomes the largest stern-ramp vessel to call at the ro-ro facility.

As part of Oportunity, Greater Western France’s port promotion collective, Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port and its Port Community partners took part in two major events in June: Breakbulk Europe and Seanergy.
