Oportunity Takes Part in the ADIC "Business Mornings" Event in Châteaubriant

On 5th December, Oportunity, Greater Western France’s port promotion collective, was in Châteaubriant for the ADIC Châteaubriant Area Inter-Business Development Association’s "Business Mornings" event, to meet with some Châteaubriant-based companies. The theme of the event was "Transport, Logistics and CSR: Perfectly Compatible!"

At present, one third of CO2 emissions is related to the transportation of passengers and goods. Taking due account of the transport and logistics component when developing a company’s CSR policy is therefore essential! The players in the transport sector have truly grasped this. They are strongly committed to the decarbonization process, and are now offering their customers solutions that are more and more environmentally responsible.

After a presentation of the collective’s missions Oportunity by Laurence Paitel (Marketing Directorate), Cédric Eon (Development Directorate) and Pierre Gourdon (Marketing Directorate) of Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port presented the advantages for businesses in choosing maritime transportation outbound from Montoir de Bretagne, demonstrating how logistics choices are integral to and fully inform CSR strategies.
