On 29th September, France’s National Ports and Maritime Union gathered together its members in Metropolitan France and in the Overseas Departments and Territories so that they could share their goals and ambitions, and that they could develop common synergies.

OPORTUNITY is the new identity of Greater Western France’s port collective. It was unveiled at the launch event held in the evening of Thursday, 13th October, in the presence of over 150 Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port Community players.

The Smooth Ports Project presented its results at a final seminar held in Brussels on 13th and 14th September, before a forty-strong group of participants.

Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port has taken part in International Week, an event organized by the Pays de la Loire Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In Nantes on 27th September and in Angers two days later, the Port Authority’s teams were present on a stand to assist companies and firms in the Pays de la Loire Region in their international development.

The programme to develop a "plug-and-play" logistics-oriented real-estate offer at the Montoir de Bretagne industrial operations facility is continuing with the upcoming construction of a 3 000 m² metal-and-textile warehouse.

Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port is issuing a call for expressions of interest in the Quai Marquis d'Aiguillon – Shed 12 site, to breathe new life into this port facility located in an exceptional setting beside the River Loire, halfway between the rapidly changing Bas-Chantenay District of the City and the heart of Nantes.
