In the course of the first half of 2024, Greater Western France’s port promotion collective will have its own stand at four major international trade shows. Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port’s teams will have by their side Port Community firms for each of the events, according to the sector concerned.

Every year the Moroccan Association for Industry and Automobile Construction, AMICA, organizes a fair with all stakeholders in the sector: subcontractors, manufacturers, logistics companies.

Held on 28th and 29th November, the 18th edition of the Maritime Economy Forum focussed this year on the military, economic, energy, food, logistics, cyber-security and other aspects of sovereignty, in a complex world.

On 5th December, Oportunity, Greater Western France’s port promotion collective, was in Châteaubriant for the ADIC Châteaubriant Area Inter-Business Development Association’s "Business Mornings" event, to meet with some Châteaubriant-based companies. The theme of the event was "Transport, Logistics and CSR: Perfectly Compatible!"

Since 2016, the Maritime and Logistics University’s Trainmar Centre in Dakar (Senegal) has worked in close collaboration with UN e-Sea (Nantes University) to develop port-related and maritime training courses.

On 13th November, Sophie Cochard joined Nantes ‒ Saint‐Nazaire Port as the Director of Planning and Development, Environment and Real-Estate Assets. This trained lawyer and member of the Paris Bar Association began her professional career as an adviser to companies on Community law, and more specifically on state aid, anti-competitive practices, integrations and litigation.
