A Refrigerated Warehouse at Montoir

Sylvain Pucel, Chief Executive of Groupe SF, announced the construction of a multi-temperature warehouse at the Montoir de Bretagne industrial and logistics facility, on a 6-hectare site located to the rear of the general cargo and container terminal. This will be a major asset for the development of international agri-food flows from the ro-ro and container terminals at the Port of Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire.

Creation of the Greater Western France Shippers Club

Pauline Van den Bulcke, Export Director at U LOG, officially launched the Greater Western France Shippers Club. The aim of this Association is to bring together industrial firms working with the Port of Montoir de Bretagne, so as to create synergies between actions and tools to develop the maritime offer. The Shippers Club will undertake initial actions with and for logistics professionals, notably on subjects such as decarbonization, the multimodality of logistics activities, the optimization of transport costs, the reduction of delivery times and the fluidity of port transit operations.

Yann Trichard, Chair of the Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Chamber of Commerce and Industry, concluded the contributions by inviting industrial shippers from all sectors to join the Club.
