An Unusual Operation at the Port

24 June 2020

At Paimboeuf, two 360-metre-long electricity transmission network ducts have been assembled in the port area by the Maritime and Inland Waterway Engineering Division of Eiffage. The ducts were launched onto the River Loire on 20th May and floated downstream to Plage de la Courance beach in Saint Nazaire. They were embedded on that site, ready to receive the landing cable of the future Banc de Guérande offshore wind farm.
