The Anna, arriving from Izmir in Turkey, called in at Nantes at the end of April with a consignment of 18 wind turbine blades for delivery to an onshore wind farm located near Angers, in the Department of Maine-et-Loire. Two other vessels completed this first shipment: the EEMS Dublin, arriving on 8th May from Rostock in Germany, and the Northern Rock, on 25th May.

The Nantes Manutention and Nantes Port Terminal teams of personnel were charged with carrying out the cargo handling operations.
