A Spliethoff Service from the East Coast of the United States

4 October 2020

The Dutch shipping line Spliethoff, whose headquarters are in Amsterdam, is now calling at Montoir de Bretagne twice a month. Offering a connection with the Great Lakes Region, the vessels arrive from Baltimore (Maryland), Jacksonville (Florida), and Morehead (North Carolina).

With a lifting capacity of 210 tonnes, the shipping line’s breakbulk vessels are suited to the task of transporting project cargo, outsize rolling equipment and heavy-lift cargo.

Montoir de Bretagne is the only French port facility to have this type of breakbulk shipping service call. At a local level, Spliethoff is represented by TGO, which acts as the vessel management agent.
