Call for Proposals for the Rooftop of the Fortified Lock in Saint Nazaire

Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port, Saint Nazaire City Council and Saint Nazaire Urban Area District Authority are issuing a call for expressions of interest to select a project developer to turn the rooftop terrace of the fortified lock into a cultural, festive and recreational venue.

The purpose of the call for expressions of interest (CEI) is to entrust a project developer with the task of transforming the rooftop terrace of the fortified lock into a venue for concerts and cultural, festive and recreational events, which will also be able to accommodate corporate seminars, conferences and other gatherings during the day.

This facility located on an exceptional site should propose a musical, festive and cultural offering which is designed to attract a broad local public and is complementary to the existing choice of cultural activities available in the urban area. Through its architectural quality and its programme of events, the venue should contribute to the appeal of Saint Nazaire and help to energize this part of the city.
