André Drouard at the Head of the Container Terminal Business Unit

On 15th June of this year, André Drouard joined Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port’s Development Directorate as Assistant Operations Manager for the container and ro-ro terminal business units.

Having arrived at SOMALOIR in 1987, André spent a total of 16 years at Montoir de Bretagne, with a 4-year-long "African interlude" in Guinea Conakry. Following that, he joined CMA-CGM in the role of General Manager of agencies in Mayotte, Angola, the Dominican Republic, then El Salvador, before working for a year at SVITZER/Maersk in Haiti.

He took up his new role as the Container Terminal Business Unit Manager on 1st November. Day-to-day, he undertakes both an operations mission and a development mission in relation to shippers, informing them about the service offer at the Montoir de Bretagne terminal, inbound and outbound, in order to increase the number of containers transiting this facility.
