Alongside Ship

At loading, the shipper must see that the cargo is placed parallel to the line of the vessel, where the shipowner’s appointed agents collect the cargo and position it directly below the lifting tackle. At unloading, the cargo is unstowed, if necessary, slung, hoisted, transferred and delivered alongside ship at the shipowner’s expense.

AWB (Air Waybill)

Providing a description of the cargo, the AWB is completed in most cases by the airline company or by the freight forwarder, but the shipper is always responsible for the accuracy of the cargo information.
