Acting in favour of the environment

Acting in favour of the environment

Being located on the Loire Estuary, a major zone on France’s Atlantic Seaboard, Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port has been committed for many years now to a process of energy and ecological transition. Conscious of the societal, economic, environmental and climate-related challenges involved, Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port engages in regular dialogue with the scientific community and with associations and interest groups, notably in the environmental domain, and works hand in hand with the economic players present in the Port Authority’s area of jurisdiction to advance the search for innovative solutions and approaches designed to control the impacts of port-related activities on the environment.
