Julien Dujardin and Jérôme Guiziou Join the Management Team

On 12th November, Julien Dujardin and Jérôme Guiziou both joined Nantes − Saint Nazaire Port, respectively as Deputy Managing Director responsible for technical resources and as Director of Development.

At 34 years of age, a graduate of France’s Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées National School of Civil Engineering, with a background in project financing, industrial environment law and competition law, Julien Dujardin has worked for the past ten years in the maritime and ports sector. He notably took charge of the studies carried out by Dunkirk Port Authority’s Major Projects Department, where for example he evaluated the appropriateness of developing a port complex for heavy cargo and container terminals at an estimated cost of 650 M€. In 2013, he took over as the Head of the Port Terminals and Concessions Department at Le Havre Port Authority, before returning to Dunkirk in 2015 as the Head of the Logistical and Industrial Development Department. Today, Julien Dujardin takes on the responsibility for managing Nantes − Saint Nazaire Port’s technical resources, covering the Estuary Environment, Planning and Development, Nautical Accesses and Asset Management Directorates.

47 years old, the holder of a D.E.S.S. Specialist Post-Graduate Diploma in Maritime Activities Law, obtained following the award of an Advanced Study Diploma in Private Law, Major: Business Law, Jérôme Guiziou began his career in the maritime and ports sector in 1998, in the area of marine insurance, then as Insurance and Legal Affairs Manager with Delmas, in Le Havre. He joined CMA CGM in Marseille in 2009, as the Group’s Deputy Director of Legal Affairs, in charge of corporate law and managing a portfolio of over 400 companies. Four years later, he founded his own consultancy firm and worked on risk management issues for a major oil company. He then further collaborated with CMA CGM in the area of real-estate property, before taking over as Head of the Group’s Property Management Directorate in 2014. For the past 3 years, Jérôme Guiziou has been involved with his two consultancy firms: Ocean Biz Solutions and Ocean Racing Assistance. In that role, he assisted Nantes − Saint Nazaire Port in putting in place new contractual arrangements. Today, he is joining the management team as Director of Development, a role taking in the Energy, Upriver Facilities, Saint Nazaire Facility, Container Terminal, Multi-Bulk Terminal and Ro-Ro Terminal Business Units, as well as the Port Area Management Department.

The arrival of Julien Dujardin and Jérôme Guiziou constitutes a key stage in setting up the new organizational structure at Nantes − Saint Nazaire Port.
