Shippers, transport operators and freight forwarders were all in attendance. The announcements included the future cold storage facility at Montoir de Bretagne and the creation of the Greater Western France Shippers Club. Creation of the Greater Western France Shippers Club 1 July 2025 Port Environment The Greater Western France Shippers Club was officially launched on 26th June at the Beach Forwarding event in Saint Nazaire, under the presidency of Pauline Van den Bulcke, Export Director at U LOG. The aim of this new collective is to unite industrial firms working with the Port of Montoir de Bretagne around concrete actions to strengthen the Region’s maritime offer. A Refrigerated Warehouse at the Port of Nantes Saint-Nazaire 26 June 2025 Business Location The call for expressions of interest issued by Nantes Saint-Nazaire Port to meet the needs of businesses in its hinterland, particularly those in the agri-food industry, has reached a conclusion. The construction and operation of the new cold storage facility at Montoir de Bretagne have been entrusted to Groupe SF. This new facility will enable the Port to expand its maritime service offer, both for imports and exports. The Wind Power Sector Takes Centre Stage at the Third Edition of Wind for Goods in Saint Nazaire 26 June 2025 Promotion Since 2021, Wind for Goods has been bringing together every two years stakeholders who have set a common course to decarbonizing the maritime industry! The leading international event dedicated to the wind-powered transportation of freight and passengers, Wind for Goods connects representatives from the sector to highlight solutions and practices that will reduce the carbon footprint of the maritime industry. Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port is a partner of this event. Seanergy 2025: Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port at the Heart of the Offshore Wind Power Sector 26 June 2025 Wind Power On 17th and 18th June, Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire Port took part in Seanergy, the leading international event dedicated to offshore renewable energy, which was held this year in Paris. This event offered a great opportunity to showcase the ongoing operations for the installation of the Loire Estuary’s second offshore wind farm, led by EMYN, as well as to present the Éole project for the creation of a dedicated industrial integration base for fixed-foundation and floating wind turbines in Saint Nazaire. A New Chair at the Helm of UMNP 26 June 2025 Port Environment The annual general meeting of Nantes Ports Maritime Union (UMNP) was held on 5th June and was attended by some one hundred stakeholders from the Port Community. On this occasion, maritime pilot Ludovic Madec was elected Chair by the members of the Board of Directors of the Organization.
