The Port Present at "The Sea XXL"

From 29th June to 10th July, La Beaujoire Exhibition Centre in Nantes will be hosting "The Sea XXL", an exceptional exhibition dedicated to the world’s oceans, never before seen in France.

The event sets out to enable the general public to gain a better understanding of the riches of the sea and of the role that it plays. As a major player in the world of ports and shipping, Nantes − Saint Nazaire Port is taking part in "The Sea XXL" in a joint exhibition space, together with the Union of French Port Authorities (UPF) and its members. On its stand, the Port will also be presenting a large number of activities in collaboration with its partners: the French Federation of Maritime Pilots (FFPM), and Neoline and Add-Modules Technologies, two start-ups working to develop wind turbine propulsion systems for shipping.
An exhibition of port-related specialisms, navigation simulations or a climb up the hull of a vessel using a ladder will be among the experiences proposed to visitors.
