Cruise Shipping Conference in Miami

From 12th to 14th March, the French Atlantic Ports (FAP) will be showing the advantages offered by the Channel-Atlantic Range destinations to the cruise shipping professionals who will be attending their annual gathering in Miami, at the 29th edition of the Cruise Shipping Conference.

Comprising ten destinations (Le Havre, Rouen ‒ Honfleur, Cherbourg, Saint Malo, Brest, Lorient – Belle-Ile, Nantes – Saint Nazaire, La Rochelle, Bordeaux and Bayonne), the French Atlantic Ports Club will be present in Miami, the international cruise shipping capital, for an annual convention that is the World’s essential trade event for professionals in this sector.

Genuine Ports of Call

Shipowners and makers of cruise liners or luxury yachts, service providers (anyone from suppliers of bathing stalls to florists) or representatives of tourist destinations from all around the world cross one another’s paths at the event. For the thirteenth consecutive year, the Channel-Atlantic Range representatives will be presenting their service offers and tourist destinations on a joint stand at the French Pavilion.

The 2013 Season Promises to be Excellent at Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire

The FAP facilities received 303 cruise liner calls and 360 000 passengers in 2012. France’s Channel-Atlantic Range Ports are becoming increasingly popular destinations in their own right and no longer just as rerouting ports of call in the spring and autumn, between the Baltic and the Mediterranean. 12 cruise liner calls are scheduled at Nantes ‒ Saint Nazaire in 2013, compared to 6 the previous year.
