TGO Continues its Development

During the month of February, Montoir de Bretagne general cargo and container terminal operator TGO (Great Western Terminal) carried out several break-bulk cargo handling operations, both at its own facility and at the Saint Nazaire docks.

On 3rd February, at the docks in Saint Nazaire, TGO unloaded three Wartsila engines which had been transported on board the MV Erlanda. The three cargo consignments, each weighing 97 tonnes and bound for the STX Shipyards, were handled using the 400-tonne jumbo derrick at the Quai des Charbonniers quay. At its Montoir de Bretagne terminal on 20th February, TGO loaded a 1 160 cubic metre consignment of air-cooled heat exchangers bound for Russia on board the MV Lauga.
