Brand-New Berthing Contact Panels at the Multi-Bulk Terminal
At berth N° 2 of the Montoir de Bretagne Multi-Bulk Terminal, Nantes − Saint Nazaire Port’s Maintenance and Technical Services Department, which is based at the Les Coteaux facility, has replaced three berthing contact panels and refurbished another eleven panels.

An Unprecedented Overhaul for the Caisson of Dry Dock N° 1
The caisson of dry dock N° 1 is benefitting from an exceptional programme of refurbishment. The repairs to the structure of the caisson continued to the end of March, prior to the sandblasting and painting phase. Early in May, the caisson will be leaving dry dock N° 3 to return to its own dry dock, following five months of work.

Chinese Logistics Firm ADG and Nantes − Saint Nazaire Port Strengthen Their Collaboration
On 1st and 2nd March, together with the Nantes − Saint Nazaire Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Pays de la Loire Regional Agency, Nantes − Saint Nazaire Port welcomed the Abundant Dragon Group (ADG), one of the biggest importers and logistics service providers in the Province of Shandong. This Chinese firm came to see the port installations and to meet local companies with a view to increasing its imports of French products. This marked ADG’s third official visit to the Loire Estuary.

Start of the EU SamueLNG Project Coordinated by GIE Dragages Ports
An EU co-financed Connecting Europe Facility project entitled "Spanish/French Sustainable Atlantic Motorways of the Seas Using as Fuel for Engine LNG", or "SamueLNG" for short, started on 13th December 2016, in Gijon, Spain. A request for proposals was issued at the start of February for the retrofit of the dredger Samuel de Champlain.
